Tarrant County Credit Union’s Scholarship Program

Tarrant County Credit Union offers academically-motivated student members who demonstrate a desire to continue their education, whether at a an accredited two-year or four-year college or a vocational/technical school, the opportunity to apply for scholarship awards.

Since the inception of the program in 2003, TCCU has awarded 32 scholarships to graduating high school seniors and returning undergraduate students.

Scholarships are awarded for the academic year (beginning in the fall semester), based on student’s membership in the credit union and an essay submission. Scholarships are not based on the student’s grades or extra-curricular activities.

The number of scholarships awarded is based on the number of applications received.

Qualifying applicants must have established an account with TCCU six months prior to the application deadline of April 30th.

Awards are paid directly to the student’s school of choice, for discretionary use to assist with educational expenses.
